

Do you work for landlords?
Yes we do! We provide landlord gas safety certificates and can work with your tenants to attend the property at a suitable time, or meet you at the property if you would prefer.
Do you install appliances?
Currently, we do not install appliances as a single visit as we are a family-run business.
But if installing appliances is part of a larger project we are a part of, we can discuss your requirements with you and will do everything we can to assist while on site.
How long will it take to install a boiler?
Unfortunately, it’s difficult to put a time frame on boiler installation. Some installs can take a day. Some can take 2 days, others can take over a week.
It depends on how much work is involved.
However, we do appreciate you want the work done as quickly as possible, but are equally mindful that we take pride in all of our work and therefore like to leave you with quality, rather than work that’s done in record time and leaving you with a shoddy installation.
Will you beat other quotes I have had?
We can’t beat a quote that’s from say, your sister-in-laws Aunts ex boyfriends mate, Jim, who used to work at the fish and chip shop and has knocked you up a quote on Word.
What we can do is provide a free no obligation quote.
Sometimes our price will come in cheaper, sometimes it isn’t.
But what we do find is that the cheapest quotes aren’t normally the best options. Many times we have gone back to properties to fix all the problems that have occurred due to customers taking the cheaper quote instead of ours. Consequently, this then ends up more expensive than just accepting a reasonable quote from the good guys (that’s us), not the cowboys (that’s Jim).
Do you accept government boiler grants?
We would have to look into this and work with you to see if you are eligible.
Do you provide emergency call outs?
No. We aren’t reactive emergency plumbers. Why? Because it would impact on all of our planned work and let our customers down.
We are working to add this service in the near future, however currently we cannot find anyone we trust to support our customers in an emergency in the same way and at a relative price to the service we currently provide.
What if you are working at our property and we have a problem in the middle of the night?
Of course we will come out to you! But “touch wood” this has never happened before, so we can, with a sense of certainty, assume this won’t happen. But if it does, we will be there with our Batman and Robin costumes on to save the day.*
How often should I have my system power flushed?
We recommend every 5-8 years to ensure your system is running at it’s best. You should also always have a power flush when having a new boiler installed to ensure the new boiler doesn’t get contaminated with old sludge in the pipes.
When should I service my boiler?
Boilers should always be serviced annually. A bit of TLC will ensure they are in tip-top condition and flag any potential issues before they arise.
I have a dripping tap, do you provide general plumbing?
Unfortunately we don’t. We can and we have done previously, but it slows up the process of installation and can make our waiting list twice as long.
If we are at your property on a larger project, we can take a look, but we aren’t available for small plumbing jobs. Yet,
BUT watch this space, we are hoping to open up our services to include smaller plumbing work as soon as possible. We appreciate demand is high and are looking at offering this to provide a full service to our customers.
Can I pay in instalments, or credit card?
Instalments? Sadly not. You’re unable to pay monthly with us as we don’t have the ability to offer credit. You can however, pay by credit card, but these payments will all incur a 2.5% surcharge**
Can you work alongside our builder?
Of course. We always work alongside builders.
But we also have our own team we regularly work with. Whatever floats your boat is fine by us, as long as time frames and expectations are realistic. Because, let’s face it, builders aren’t always honest and reliable when it comes to trades outside of their remit. We know what we do, and we are honest.
Do you fit bathrooms and kitchens?
Yes we do. Yes we can. But we avoid doing it personally. Instead, Jack is part of our team and he comes thoroughly recommended – just make sure when he turns up there’s a hot cuppa and a HobNob waiting for him.

**Charges are unique to the bank and the amount. We can look into this during your quotation period.
